- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Sugar
- ½ Cup Honey
- ¼ Cup Fresh lavender or 2 tablespoon Dried Culinary lavender
- Pinch of Salt
Bring the water, sugar and honey to a boil over medium high heat.
Once it starts boiling, turn the heat down to medium and boil lightly for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, remove from heat and add the lavender and pinch of salt.
Let it steep for 20-30 minutes.
Strain the lavender out and let it cool completely.
Add the syrup to a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to a month.
Notes:
- If you would like to keep it Sugar-free, you can use Monk fruit sweetener in place of the sugar and eliminate the honey.
- This recipe is delicious with both fresh or culinary dried lavender.
