Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • Cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil over high heat.
  • Once it is boiling, turn heat to medium so that it is boiling gently, and add brown sugar.
  • Let it boil gently, uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • After 5 minutes, remove it from heat and whisk in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, vanilla and salt.
  • Whisk it all until the syrup is smooth.
  • Let it cool and then pour it into sealed glass container and refrigerate. It will be for about 1 month. Enjoy! ♥️

Notes

Notes:

  • If you don't have pumpkin pie spice, you can use 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg ½ teaspoon ground cloves, ½ teaspoon ground ginger.
  • Make sure you use Pure Pumpkin Puree and not a pumpkin pie filling!
  • This would make a great gift to someone special (teacher? friend?) bottled in a pretty glass container and put in a basket with a locally made mug, candle and some of your favorite coffee beans!
