If you have access to your own supply of pinecones in your yard, well, lucky you! To prep them to use on your wreath, soak them for about 30 minutes in a bowl or sink of water with ยฝ cup of White Vinegar. This will rinse any debris and flush out any creepy crawlies who may be hiding in the pinecone petals. This will also cause the pinecones to close up. So, to encourage them to re-open and dry, you'll need to bake them for a bit.
Remove them from their vinegar bath and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake them in a 300ยฐ oven for about an hour. Once they have opened and dried, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool.

The actual assembly of the wreath is a piece of cake. Take a look at the video below to see the steps in action!
First, tie a piece of Jute string or rope around the ring to create a hanger for the wreath. Now, start by gluing pinecones on to the center part of the wreath ring.
