This Fireball drink is the perfect cocktail to start off a red hot date night, or Valentines day party! Made with just 2 ingredients and 2 garnishes to set the mood and set off the flavors. It is easy, it is tasty, and it will set your heart (and taste buds!) on fire!

Ingredients

  • Fireball Whisky (or other cinnamon whisky)
  • Sparkling Apple Cider (see it HERE on Amazon)
  • Red Hot Candies
  • Cinnamon Heart Gummy Candies (Click to see these on Amazon!)

How to Make this Fireball Cocktail

Make sure your Sparkling Apple Cider is chilled. You can even throw the Fireball Whisky in the fridge or even the freezer to make it extra chilly to really set off the cinnamon-y heat!

Start by crushing 2 tablespoons of red hot candies. You can do this by placing them in a zip lock bag and using a tenderizer mallet, or even a can of beans, or other canned good to smack them into small bits. Another (quicker!) option is to place them in a food processor or powerful blender for a few seconds. Pulse them a few times until they become a chunky powder.

Food processor with red hot candies that have been turned into a powder.

Next, run a lemon slice around the rim of the glass. This will create a sticky surface for the crushed red hot candies to hold on to.

Then, dip the rim of the glass in the red hot powder. Set the glasses aside while you prep the rest.

Add a few ice cubes and 4 ounces of Fireball Whisky to a cocktail shaker (click here to see this one on Amazon). Place the lid on the shaker and shake for about 10 seconds until the shaker is frosty.

Strain just the whisky (no ice cubes) into the glasses. Fill the glass up with the sparkling cider, and then top with a cinnamon jelly heart skewer and serve!
