Peppermintini
“The Dude’s” favorite Christmas Cocktail! The peppermint Schnapps makes this decadent Cocktail refreshing and festive!
- 2 ounces Vodka
- 1 ounce Peppermint Schnapps
- 1 1/2 ounce Kahlua
- 1 1/2 ounce Cream
To Create the Festive Glass: Dip the Rim of a Martini glass, (like this chrome one), in a little Chocolate syrup or this Mint Simple Syrup and then in crushed candy canes.
For the Cocktail: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, shake, shake until the shaker is frosty. Strain into the Martini Glass. Enjoy!
Yule Mule
For this cocktail, you can use a traditional ginger beer, or you can make your own with 2 ounces of this Ginger Simple Syrup and 1 cup of club soda. The festive and tasty “garland garnish” is made by skewering sugared cranberries, Candied Ginger, and popcorn onto something like this cute reindeer cocktail pick.
- 2 Ounces Whiskey
- 2 ounces Pomegranate Juice
- Top with Ginger Beer
- Squeeze of Lime
Fill copper cup with crushed ice and pour ingredients over ice. Stir gently, top with garland garnish and enjoy!

Tipsy Elf Nog
I imagine this is what Clark Griswold was drinking on Christmas Eve. He couldn’t get enough, and now I understand why! This is one of those recipes that’s even better if you make it a day (or 2!) ahead of time. That means one less thing you have to worry about on the day of your holiday party! Cheers!
- 4 Large Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups Whole Milk
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 4 ounces Bourbon
- 2 ounces Brandy or Cognac
- 2 Ounces Amaretto
- 1 tsp Freshly Grated Nutmeg
Blend the eggs in Vitamix or Blender for 1 minute. Add sugar and Nutmeg and blend for another minute. Slowly add Bourbon, Brandy and Amaretto and continue to blend. Add Milk and Cream and Blend for one more minute. Pour mixture into a pitcher, seal and refrigerate. To serve, pour into glasses (Clark Griswold Moose glasses, perhaps?) and garnish with freshly grated Nutmeg and Star Anise.
Juniper Martini
This is a classic Gin Martini. What makes this one special is the sugared Juniper Sprig garnish. Juniper berries are what gives Gin its piney flavor. If you live in an area that has Juniper trees, it is so much fun to take some clippings to use in your cocktails, or holiday decor. Otherwise, you can order Juniper berries online to either skewer onto a cocktail pick, or float in the cocktail. This adds a beautiful fragrance and creates another amazing layer to your Gin Martini… And it is beautifully festive to boot!
- 3 ounces Gin
- 1 ounce Dry Vermouth
Fill Shaker with ice and add Gin and Vermouth. Shake until the shaker is frosty. Strain into a Martini glass and garnish with Juniper sprig, or Cocktail pick with Juniper Berries. Cheers!
Snow Day
This cocktail was made using a snowball from the (WHITE!) snow in our yard. If you don’t have this option, then an ice sphere will work just as well! But whether snowball or Ice ball, this cocktail is Decadent and Delicious. You’ll want a Snow Day every day!
- 2 ounces Bulleit Bourbon (or similar quality Bourbon)
- 1 ounce Baileys (Or other Irish Creme)
- 1 ounce Amaretto Liqueur
Pour ingredients into glass, or pitcher and stir together. Add to glass and top with snowball or Ice sphere.
Mele Kalikimaka
Trav said I should call this the, “Mollie Kalikimaka”! Ha! I wish! But truth be told, this recipe is his creation, so, as generous as he is, I can’t take the credit. Shoot! Major missed opportunity! Hehe. But no matter what you call it, this Holiday riff on a Mai Tai is tropical and fruity and exactly how you’d imagine the Holidays in the Hawaiian Islands would taste!
- 1 ounce Dark Rum
- 1 ounce Light Rum
- 1/2 ounce Amaretto Liqueur
- 1 ounce Orange Juice
- 1 1/2 ounce Pineapple Juice
- 1 ounce Pomegranate Juice
- 1/2 ounce Orange Liqueur
- Dash of Tiki Bitters
